Popular Asian restaurant Tiger on the Wall, serving Indian and Oriental cuisine is open for indoor and outdoor dining at Strathness House Hotel on Ardross Street.

Taken over by Black Sheep Management Services Ltd in January 2020, the restaurant is the newest addition to the group, which has hotels across the Highlands.

Tiger on the Wall accommodates 56 guests and is open seven days a week.

The restaurant has already established itself as a popular restaurant and takeaway in Inverness.

With plans to open delayed due to lockdown, the team from Tiger on the Wall focused its efforts on obtaining an excellent reputation for food.

This strategy has paid off with consistent 5-star reviews on Facebook.

Leesa Almeida, spokesperson for Black Sheep Management Services Ltd, explained:

“Our pop-up restaurant initially opened with one dining area but recently has expanded by opening the adjoining second dining area too.

“This staggered opening allowed us to test our COVID-19 procedures and refine our customer experience.

“Now we are absolutely delighted, after months of positive feedback about our food, to fully open Tiger on the Wall and welcome guests into our restaurant where the dining experience is even better.

“Our authentic Indian and Oriental dishes, full of exotic spices and flavours, are prepared with the freshest of produce.

“With our unique menu combined with our enviable riverside location overlooking the picturesque River Ness, we believe that we offer an exceptional dining experience in Inverness.”

The speciality chefs at Tiger on the Wall have over 18 years of experience and have been handpicked to bring their culinary expertise to Inverness.

Speaking about the success of Tiger on the Wall in Inverness, Head Chef Gregory said:

“We have been thrilled by the response!

“Our most popular dishes are Butter Chicken, Chicken Hyderabadi and Biryani.

“We pride ourselves on the quality of our ingredients as well as our highly skilled team who produce delicious dishes that offer a taste of Asia in Inverness.”

The team at Tiger on the Wall has implemented enhanced health and safety measures in the light of COVID-19.

Diners can expect to be served by staff wearing face masks, dining tables are well spaced to allow social distancing and hand sanitiser is made available throughout the venue.

Tables are thoroughly disinfected each time they are used by guests.

Staff are required to have regular temperature checks before being allowed to work as well as practising good hand hygiene at all times.
