Would You Like to Sleep in a Tree Tent in The National Park?

Must read

The first Tree Tent Experience in Scotland comes to the Cairngorms National Park this winter!

Winter camping in Scotland?

Get out there, it’s just magical!

Fancy immersing yourself in nature, falling asleep beneath the stars in a beautiful Scots pine forest?

Then the brand-new Tree Tent experience at Macdonald Aviemore Resort promises to provide you with all that and more.

At a time when sustainability and the environment are high on the global agenda and Scotland’s tourism industry searches for sustainable initiatives that protect and enhance the Scottish environment, society and culture, this first Scottish Tree Tent experience delivers on all fronts.

Born out of a collaboration between Highland Hangout, Macdonald Aviemore Resort and Tree Tents International, this innovative initiative brings together award-winning aeronautical engineering and traditional craftsmanship, with one of Scotland’s much loved wild and natural places, the Cairngorms National Park.

A marriage made in heaven.

By understanding the lifecycle and sustainability of the products used in production and installation, Tree Tents International is committed to reducing the impact on the environment.

All materials are responsibly and locally sourced, 100% recyclable and of the highest quality.

Each Tree Tent is built to order, by experts in the UK, using a clever modular system that allows any damaged part to be replaced easily, thereby extending the life of the whole structure.

A spokesperson said:

“By delivering structures that are pre-fabricated and flat-packed, we dramatically reduce the carbon footprint in production, transport and installation.”

“Most treehouses are built around or into the trees.

“By suspending our Tree Tents between trees they move and behave organically with the woodland rather than against it.

“This gives a more natural experience and has less impact on the environment.”

Tree Tents offer the ultimate escape into the outdoors, reconnecting the guest with nature on an emotional level, allowing them to appreciate an alternative way of life and bringing them closer to Scotland’s natural breath-taking landscape.

The one-of-a-kind structure has a big impact on guests, not on the environment.

The Tree Tent experience at Macdonald Aviemore Resort is available from November 2019 to March 2020 and can be booked via Highland Hangout website.
