Dornoch Music Festival has reached the 100 day mark ahead of its return to Dornoch Meadows on 17 and 18 July 2026, with a full line up now confirmed.
The two day event is set to be one of the standout moments of the Highland summer, combining established names, rising talent and a setting that continues to draw people back year after year.
Saturday 18 July will be headlined by The Hoosiers, joined by Tide Lines and Beat The Drum, the Runrig experience that brings a strong Highland connection to the stage.
They are supported by The Wellerman, Wrest, Scooty and The Skyhooks, Brittle and Bad Actress, delivering a full evening of live music across styles and generations.
Friday 17 July opens the festival with Irish favourites The Tumbling Paddies leading the bill, alongside Glasville, Harley Moon Kemp, Erin Ponsonby and Lucy Tay.
Martin Bannon also features on the opening night, with a line dancing session led by Lorraine and Erin Ponsonby adding a lively start to the weekend.
This year marks a step forward for the festival, with a full two day programme and on site camping now part of the experience.
The move reflects the growth of the event, which has steadily built a reputation as one of the Highlands’ most welcoming and well supported music gatherings.
What sets Dornoch apart is its balance, a strong line up without losing the sense of place that defines it.
It remains rooted in the town and its community, while offering a weekend that attracts visitors from across the region and beyond.
There is a confidence to the festival now, with a programme that stands on its own and a format that gives people time to settle in and be part of it.
With previous years selling out and interest already strong, the 100 day countdown marks a key point as attention turns firmly to July.
For many across the Highlands, this is shaping up to be one of the defining weekends of the summer.
