Ducati Riders Celebrate Extraordinary Journeys Across The Globe

From the Amazon rainforest to the edge of the Sahara, Ducati riders from around the world have been recognised for their remarkable adventures as the Multistrada V4 Voyagers 2026 competition reached its conclusion.

Held during Ducati’s centenary year, the international competition invited Multistrada V4 owners to share the stories, photographs and videos behind their most memorable journeys.

Riders from more than 38 countries entered, showcasing the many different ways motorcycle travel can connect people, cultures and landscapes.

Six winners were selected by a Ducati judging panel across a range of categories designed to celebrate adventure, endurance, exploration and companionship.

Among the standout stories was Colombian rider Alejandro Restrepo, who claimed the award for the most adventurous journey after taking his Multistrada V4 Rally deep into the Colombian wilderness.

His route crossed vast plains, rivers, swamps and sections of the Amazon rainforest, testing both rider and machine in some of South America’s most challenging terrain.

Another memorable journey came from Italy’s Claudio Muzzi, whose 12,000 kilometre trip to the North Cape took him through 11 countries and some of the harshest weather conditions Europe could offer.

The award for the longest journey went to Colombian rider John Edisson Palacio Lopez and his wife, who travelled more than 35,000 kilometres across eight South American countries before reaching Ushuaia, often described as the end of the world.

In the solo travel category, China’s Jiangwei Shi was recognised for an extraordinary expedition through Tibet, Xinjiang and Central Asia, following ancient Silk Road routes through deserts, glaciers and mountain passes.

The competition also celebrated the power of shared experiences.

French rider Joel Mossand received special recognition for a father and daughter adventure created to celebrate his daughter Sarah’s 18th birthday, travelling from France through Tunisia and into the Sahara Desert.

The stories reflect a theme familiar to many touring motorcyclists.

The motorcycle may be the vehicle, but the real rewards are often found in the people met, the challenges overcome and the memories created along the way.

To mark their achievements, each winner will receive a personalised Ducati trophy, a collection of official Ducati accessories and exclusive access to World Ducati Week 2026 and the Borgo Panigale Experience.

The winning journeys will also be featured across Ducati’s official website and social media channels, becoming part of a growing archive of adventures from riders around the world.

As Ducati celebrates 100 years of motorcycle history, the Multistrada V4 Voyagers competition has highlighted something that has remained unchanged throughout that century.

The desire to discover what lies beyond the next horizon.

On the Ducati website, you can access the configurator, where you can choose the right accessories to customise the Multistrada V4 to your needs.
