Women across the Highlands are being encouraged to make time for themselves as the final tickets remain for an upcoming menopause wellness workshop taking place in Inverness next month.
High Life Highland is hosting the “Wellness, Your Way, Well Women, Well Life” event on Saturday 6 June at Bught Park Pavilion in partnership with Menopause Health Highland.
Running from 10am until midday, the workshop has been designed to give women practical support, expert advice and a welcoming space to discuss menopause and perimenopause openly.
The two hour session will be led by clinicians Dr Emma Rushworth and Dr Beth MacFarlane who will share evidence based guidance alongside wellbeing advice aimed at helping women feel more informed and confident during a stage of life that is often still poorly understood or rarely spoken about openly.
As awareness around menopause support continues to grow across workplaces, healthcare and communities, organisers say the event is intended to create a relaxed and supportive environment where women can learn, ask questions and connect with others going through similar experiences.
Emma Thomson said the response to the event had already been extremely positive.
“We have been delighted with the response to our ‘Well Women, Well Life’ event, and look forward to welcoming everyone to this special event next weekend.
“We have a few tickets left so if anyone who has been thinking about attending but hasn’t yet booked, we encourage you to do so quickly.
“This is going to be a really lovely morning.
“The workshop has been thoughtfully designed as a safe and supportive space where women can share experiences, feel heard, and learn directly from menopause experts.”
Tickets are priced at £20 for High Life Highland members and £30 for non members, with organisers also offering a £10 refund to anyone joining as a new member on the day.
Refreshments, a goodie bag and entry into a prize draw for a three month High Life Highland membership are also included within the ticket price.
The workshop reflects growing efforts across Scotland to improve education, wellbeing support and open discussion around menopause, helping women feel better supported both socially and medically during what can often be a challenging transition.
With only limited spaces now remaining, organisers are encouraging anyone considering attending to book soon.
