The online service allowing people to attend health and social care appointments remotely has expanded to three more libraries in Moray.
Aberlour, Buckie and Forres libraries join Elgin library in offering private space and the use of smart devices allowing people to access NearMe appointments.
The smart devices were provided via the Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre (DHI).
NearMe is a video consulting service that allows people to attend appointments from afar.
The service is widely used across NHS Scotland, Social Security Scotland and other organisations to provide appointments from a distance, removing the barrier of travel.
To request space for a NearMe appointment, email nearme@moray.gov.uk or phone:

Kathleen Robertson, Chair of Moray Council’s Education, Children’s Services and Leisure Committee, said:
“We originally trialled NearMe access in Elgin Library, and it proved to be both successful and convenient.
“As a result, we’ve rolled the service out in more libraries across the region. We’re exploring options that would allow us to provide the service in other locations in Moray.”
NearMe appointments can also be accessed from home through the use of a smartphone, tablet or computer with a webcam and speaker.
