It’s panto season again, and this year, Imagine Theatre is delivering a dazzling array of family-friendly shows across Scotland, brimming with laughter, song, and traditional panto magic.

Starting in November 2024, this season promises a spectacular lineup featuring productions in Glasgow, Inverness, Kirkcaldy, and Kilmarnock, each offering a unique twist on beloved fairy tales and starring some of Scotland’s best-loved talent.

At the Pavilion in Glasgow, audiences can expect a Glaswegian spin on Beauty and the Beastie, starring local favourites Liam Dolan, Grado, Stephen Purdon, and more, who are ready to infuse their signature blend of humour and mischief into this timeless tale.

At Eden Court in Inverness, Jack and The Beanstalk is set to bring Highland audiences on a giant adventure as local stars Steven Wren and Ross Allan lead the Trot family in their quest to outwit the giant Blunderbore and win the heart of Jack’s true love.

For a unique twist, Kilmarnock’s Goldilocks and the Three Bears will take place under a fully heated Big Top at the Ayrshire Athletics Arena, bringing a circus flair to the story as Dame Dolly and her friends attempt to save Dundonald’s Circus — with plenty of slapstick, acrobatics, and laughs guaranteed!

In Kirkcaldy, Sleeping Beauty at the Adam Smith Theatre will offer an enchanting journey into a fairy-tale realm, complete with dazzling costumes, whimsical characters, and music to transport audiences into the world of true love’s awakening.

Imagine Theatre, helmed by husband-and-wife team Steve and Sarah Boden, has earned its reputation as one of the UK’s top pantomime production companies, celebrated for its commitment to quality and traditional storytelling that sparkles with magic.

Eric Potts, Artistic Director of Imagine Theatre and an Ayrshire native, takes special pride in bringing these shows to Scottish audiences, saying:

“The Glasgow and Ayr pantos were annual events for me growing up, and it’s a true delight to continue that Caledonian panto legacy of variety and quality storytelling with the Imagine team.”

From the Borders to the Highlands, there’s a panto for everyone this holiday season, with Imagine Theatre ensuring the festive spirit reaches every corner of Scotland.

Tickets are now on sale, so don’t miss the chance to make cherished holiday memories with a show full of fun, excitement, and festive cheer.
