Rude & Good, a comedy double act created by Rab Mulheron, is on the brink of making history as the first comedians from the Highlands to perform at the renowned Hot Water Comedy Club in Liverpool.
This marks a significant milestone not only for the duo but also for Highland comedy as a whole.
Rab Mulheron, a seasoned comedian with performances spanning across the UK, Ireland, and Spain, expressed his excitement about this opportunity.
He said:
“It is great to represent the Highlands and Scotland at The Hot Water Comedy Club in Liverpool down in England.
“We are really looking forward to this; it is another first for Rude & Good and of course a first for Highland comedians.
“For us, it is an honour to represent Highland comedy, so hopefully we can convince people that there is more to the Highlands than bagpipes, tartan, and purple heather.”
In addition to their upcoming performance in Liverpool, Rude & Good will also be the first comedy act ever to perform at the Thunder in The Glens event this August, making it a monumental month for the duo.
The Hot Water Comedy Club is one of the most prestigious comedy venues in the UK, and this achievement marks a significant step forward in showcasing the unique comedic talent emerging from Scotland’s Highlands.
