MOTPal Launches Free MOT Giveaway for UK Drivers

Highland built platform MOTPal has launched a nationwide competition giving drivers the chance to win one of three free MOT tests.

The competition is running across the company’s social media channels as MOTPal continues expanding its digital booking platform across the UK.

Three MOTs worth £55 each are being given away with prize draws scheduled for 29 May, 12 June and 26 June.

Drivers only need to enter once to remain included in all three draws.

To enter, drivers are being asked to like the competition post, comment “MOT” and sign up and book through the MOTPal website.

The company says the competition is part of wider efforts to make MOT booking simpler while encouraging motorists not to miss important test dates.

MOTPal officially launched earlier this year with a system designed to help drivers quickly find local MOT stations, check availability and book appointments online.

The platform was developed in the Highlands and aims to modernise what has traditionally been a slow and frustrating process for both drivers and independent garages.

Automatic reminders are also built into the system helping drivers avoid last minute panic or unintentionally letting their MOT expire.

The company says independent garages also benefit from booking management tools, automated reminders and systems designed to reduce no shows and fill empty workshop slots.

Earlier this year MOTPal said its long term ambition was to place modern digital tools into the hands of smaller independent MOT stations across the country.

The company also plans further upgrades later this year including predictive maintenance alerts, AI driven review responses and smart speaker integration.

MOTPal says the giveaway is intended as a simple way to celebrate UK drivers while raising awareness of the platform ahead of the busy summer motoring season.
