One of Nashville’s rising country singing stars is preparing to make her debut performance at Plockton Inn in Wester Ross for two nights only this week – Thursday 15th and Friday 16th August.
Stella Prince will be taking to the stage in the bar at Plockton Inn from 9pm to 11pm on both nights to offer the local community and visitors a rare chance to enjoy free live performances.
Having made her name in the capital of American country music, Stella brings a heartfelt authenticity to contemporary music.
Her goal is to share and express the intensity of feelings currently experienced by her generation and beyond, through her deeply evocative lyrics, beautifully crafted melodies and angelic, haunting vocals.
Originally from Woodstock in New York State and now established in Nashville, Stella is a singer-songwriter who has played hundreds of shows nationally and internationally, performing at legendary venues from London to Austin.
In 2023, Stella founded Nashville’s first and only Americana showcase for female musicians.
She was also featured in magazines such as Nashville Noise; Music City Magazine; Girls Life Magazine; Mix Magazine; and Nashville Scene, which said Stella is “carrying the banner for a new generation of folk musicians.”
Stella’s social media following has taken off with 50,000 followers across her platforms, and a million streams on Spotify alone.
Plockton Inn, which is hosting the live music event free of charge, is owned and operated by Scottish-based hotel group, Highland Coast Hotels.
