A wave of opportunity is heading to the Highlands as the Inverness Castle Experience begins a major recruitment campaign.

Around 60 to 65 roles are up for grabs, covering full-time, part-time and seasonal positions ahead of the grand opening later this year.

The team behind the project is looking for passionate people to bring the spirit and stories of the Highlands to life for visitors from around the globe.

From retail and catering to visitor experience and operations, the call is out for those who thrive in a fast-paced and people-focused environment.

Applicants with a love for Highland culture and a knack for customer service are being encouraged to step forward.

The recruitment drive is part of a wider effort to boost the Highland economy through the Inverness and Highland City-Region Deal.

Backed by £315 million in combined funding from the UK and Scottish governments and key regional partners, the project aims to fuel long-term sustainable growth.

Councillor Ian Brown hailed the scale of the recruitment as a landmark moment for the region.

He said it not only creates jobs but also keeps local talent rooted in the Highlands with strong and meaningful career paths.

Michael Golding of High Life Highland added that this is a golden opportunity for individuals to join the journey of a major cultural attraction from the very beginning.

He highlighted the inclusive environment and the commitment to empowering staff to deliver standout visitor experiences.

Garry Marsden, head of the Inverness Castle Experience, said they are seeking individuals who care deeply about the Highlands and are ready to be part of something truly impactful.

He described the roles as more than jobs, calling them a way to connect people, stories and landscapes in a setting that celebrates heritage and hospitality.

Those curious to find out more can attend informal recruitment days at 4 Castle Wynd, right next to the Inverness Museum and Art Gallery.

The drop-in events on 29, 30 and 31 May offer a chance to meet the team, ask questions, and explore what working at the Inverness Castle Experience might be like.

No bookings are needed and all are welcome.

Positions will be listed online as they go live, with full details available at https://invernesscastle.scot/careers

The attraction is being supported by £30 million of dedicated funding for its redevelopment, with contributions from The Highland Council, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, and other partners.

As the castle prepares to open its doors once again, this is a chance to be part of a legacy that blends the past with a bright future.
