Officers in Inverness issued nine anti-social behaviour orders to drivers over the weekend.

Local complaints have been received about driver behaviour in the area of Eastfield Way Retail Park and officers carried out patrols between Friday, 27 August and Sunday, 29 August, 2021.

Police Sergeant Ewan Calder of the Road Policing Unit in Inverness said:

“It was disappointing to see so many offences being detected in a short period of time.

“Eight car drivers received an order along with a motorcyclist.

“All of these drivers were male and under the age of 30.

“Motorists driving in an anti-social manner is inconsiderate to nearby residents and we need those involved in dangerous manoeuvres and speeding to be aware of where they are and what is around them.

“We will continue to take enforcement action where necessary.”
