Barnardo’s Scotland is looking forward to welcoming customers back to its charity shop in Inverness on Monday 26 April, the date in the First Minister’s roadmap for non-essential shops to re-open.

And the charity has a few important announcements of its own.

Donations – The charity has received a constant stream of messages relating to donations – they are delighted to announce that shops will be taking donations from 19 April – but stress donations should be delivered to the shops during opening hours and not left at the door, but no need to call prior to visiting.

The charity is particularly looking for donations for spring / summer clothing.

Volunteering – the volunteer portal has reopened, anyone looking for a volunteer role should visit the charities website or contact their local shop.

Bargains – the charity has received new stock from high street retailers and warehouse brands who have closed during lockdown, so there are many bargains to be had on brand new stock.

And to help customers through the extended cold snap the shops will be reopening with a fantastic 50% sale on all Autumn/Winter Stock
