Circus Berlin is preparing to roll into Inverness next week, promising six days of high energy entertainment featuring performers from 16 different countries, world class daredevil acts and family friendly fun under one of the UK’s largest circus big tops.
The Continental Circus Berlin Wunderbar Tour 2026 will arrive at Bught Park from Tuesday 30 June until Sunday 5 July, bringing together an international cast of acrobats, aerial artists, stunt riders, comedians and speciality performers in what organisers describe as an all new production for this year’s UK tour.
Produced by the team behind Circus Extreme, the show combines traditional circus favourites with modern spectaculars, creating a fast moving performance designed to appeal to audiences of every age.

Among the headline attractions is a breathtaking Globe of Death featuring extreme motorcycle riders experiencing forces comparable to those faced by fighter pilots as they race inside a steel sphere, alongside a high wire performance never before seen in the UK by artists travelling from Spain and Africa specifically for the production.

The show also features internationally acclaimed Cuban performer Mayrelis, whose extraordinary hair hanging act sees her suspended high above the circus ring by her hair alone, while one of Britain’s leading aerial performers, Amber, joins the production for a spectacular aerial chandelier performance.

Audiences can also expect dazzling quick change illusions, juggling, hula hoop performances, the nerve testing Wheel of Death, comedy from legendary clown Papeluxo and the return of George the Dragon, billed as the world’s smallest stuntman.
The cast reflects the international spirit of the modern circus, with performers from 16 different nations bringing together a remarkable mix of skills, cultures and traditions beneath one roof.
While today’s entertainment often relies on computer generated imagery and digital effects, Circus Berlin believes the appeal of live performance has never been stronger, giving audiences the chance to witness genuine skill, courage and precision unfolding in front of their eyes.

The production is presented inside a climate controlled theatre style big top with comfortable seating, offering a modern circus experience while retaining the excitement and atmosphere that have made the big top a favourite with generations of families.
Performances begin on Tuesday 30 June with a 7pm show, followed by multiple daily performances through to Sunday 5 July, giving families plenty of opportunities to catch one of the biggest touring circus productions to visit the Highlands this year.
With tickets starting from just £10, organisers expect strong demand as Circus Berlin returns to Inverness with a production packed with thrills, laughter, spectacular stunts and unforgettable moments for all ages.
