Scottish football fans won’t have long to wait for the much-anticipated KDM Evolution Trophy fixture reveal, with the SPFL confirming that the 2025/26 league phase draw will be shown live on YouTube tomorrow, Thursday 17 July, at 1.00pm.

The updated tournament format features 30 teams across three divisions, including Premiership B sides for the very first time, and will kick off with a six-match league phase before heading into knockout action.

Ten League 1 clubs, ten League 2 clubs, and ten Premiership B teams will each play six regionalised fixtures between August and November, with the top 22 clubs progressing to the knockout stages, where they’ll be joined by all 10 Championship teams.

To manage the draw, clubs have been divided into three pots (A, B, and C) based on division and split further into North and South regions. Each team’s fixtures will be determined live, and full details will be shared soon after.

The draw will begin with the North region, drawing one club from each pot to determine match pairings and fixture order.

The same will follow for the South region until all 90 league phase fixtures are revealed.

The league phase will begin midweek on 12/13 August and wrap up on 11 November.

Knockout rounds begin in December and run through to a final in late March or early April 2026.
