Businesses from across Moray, The Highlands and Aberdeenshire will be coming together in Nairn on the 24th of March for the first ever Circle Networks LIVE Scotland, as part of Circle Networks Global LIVE series.

Back in January, three local business owners from Inverness attended the first of the series in Dubai.

The focus of the Nairn conference will be around sustainability, what what’s special about being a small, sustainable (and even Gaelic speaking) business in Scotland and what it means to be a ‘Scottish’ business.

Former President of Moray Business Women Ailsa Stinson from B is for Brand has been chosen to co-host the event alongside professional co-host and content creator Gareth Williams from Conwy, Wales.

Local familiar face Ed Lopez from Strut Digital will be taking to the stage, as will Nicola Thomson from Lasair Ltd, based on Skye.

In a global networking first, Nicola be talking about the importance of Gaelic as a business language.

National level speakers include Elliot Kaye from Speaker Express, Ally Mitchell, founder of Ocean Plastic Pots and Amy Britton, founder of Britton Scotland who are both heavily involved in the Net Zero conversation in Scotland.

Recently added to the speaker list is local small business owner Yaz Basan from Wilderness Fit, who will be on the panel alongside Ally Mitchell and Amy Britton.

This national level conference promises lots to offer for local businesses in the Highland and Moray Firth regions.

About Circle Networks

Circle Networks empowers entrepreneurs and business owners through networking, connection, and collaboration, combining the value of in-person and online events to deliver growth and support.

Circle Networks’ ethos, Friendship Fuels Business prioritises meaningful connections over pitches.

The organisation’s Be More Buffalo philosophy is about helping entrepreneurs and business owners in the making to find resilience, face challenges head-on and thrive in the process.

It’s easy to see why so many Scottish business owners and in particular, those across Moray and the Highlands have chosen Circle Networks as their ‘go-to’ networking community as there’s a lot of synergy with Highland culture and how business gets done across the Highland region.

The icing on the cake for this upcoming event is that Circle Networks, a culturally sensitive organisation, has chosen to showcase the cultural importance of Gaelic as a business language as part of the programme.
