Local residents and businesses are being invited to meet the team behind the next phase of the A9 Dualling programme, as Wills Bros Civil Engineering Ltd prepares to deliver the Tay Crossing to Ballinluig section of the upgrade.

A series of public drop-in events will be held throughout November and December, giving communities along the route the chance to speak directly with the project team, ask questions and learn more about how the major construction works will be carried out.

The events will allow people to hear first-hand about the expected benefits of the dualling project for surrounding communities, as well as details of traffic management plans during the construction period.

Sessions will take place in Pitlochry, Ballinluig and Perth, with an online appointment-based option available for those unable to attend in person.

The events will be supported by senior staff from Wills Bros Civil Engineering Ltd, alongside representatives from Transport Scotland and their advisers Jacobs UK.

Each in-person session will run from 8am until 8pm.

Event details are as follows.

Wednesday 19 November 2025 – Pitlochry Town Hall, PH16 5EA.

Thursday 20 November 2025 – Mid Atholl Hall, Ballinluig, PH9 0NF.

Wednesday 26 November 2025 – Perth Subud Centre, 7 St Leonards Bank, Perth, PH2 8EB.

Wednesday 3 December 2025 – Online event by appointment.

Register at A9TC2B@willsbros.com.

Parking will be available at all venues.

Chris Dale, Site Agent for the project, said the events are a central part of the contractor’s commitment to keeping the public informed.

“These community focused events are a key part of our commitment to engaging with the local community and ensuring that local people are informed throughout the works about our activities,” he said.

“We look forward to meeting and speaking directly with local residents and businesses about the project, providing them with opportunities to meet the project team, understand further the scope of the work, and learn about the safety measures and traffic management plans we will have in place to keep the travelling public safe throughout construction.”

Regular updates on construction progress and traffic management will be published on the A9 Dualling website as the project moves forward.
